Released January 29, the eponymous album by this New York quartet is not to be missed! Part Police, part Paul Simon, Vampire Weekend’s African rhythms take you on a vacation to somewhere laid back and sunny. This will be THE beach album for 2008 and my first entry for the best of the year. 10 out of 10.
